I’ve lost 95% use of my arms & hands.
My head is getting really heavy to hold up, sitting up straight is exhausting.
My legs are swelling.
My fingers are crooked & deformed.
Swallowing is getting tricky; food needs to be soft & mushy or in thick liquid form.

Losing heart would be so easy! But you already know my battle cry is to be stubborn for His glory, right? So I’ve put together a strategy to help me live out this promise:

“Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.”

I have one crooked finger that I can use to type on my phone if my arm is resting on something.

So while my outer man is decaying, I’m using my one crooked finger to do what makes me truly happy… creating ways to bless others!

First, I’ve written a children’s book! God’s brought me an illustrator completely out of my league & now I’m shopping publishers. It’s the one story I’d tell my grandchildren if I could. Now I can! 🙌🏼

Second, I’ve created a line of tshirts and merch that I’m so excited to launch! Each will be wrapped in leopard print and arrive with a prayer to bless the recipient.

Third, I have 7 books in the works, thanks to friends helping me! One is a Biblical women’s ministry & leadership guide, packed with all my best systems, trainings, lists & tips.

So you see my strategy? I’m keeping myself busy & distracted by trying to be a blessing, so I hardly notice my outer man decaying, because my inner man is so busy passing on God’s Word!

I recommend this strategy to anyone going thru a long-term trial! Whether it’s a physical limitation, marriage to a difficult man or another painful relationship, using your spiritual gifts to bless others will give you great amounts of joy!

Am I biting off more than I can chew for the Lord? I sure hope so! 🤣 It brings me such joy to step out in faith & watch God provide in the most amazing ways!

As my mom used to say, “Krissy, where there’s a will, there’s a way!” So here I am, dreaming of ways I can be useful for the Kingdom with my one crooked finger. 😉

🙏🏼 Please pray God preserves this ability?
